Kenya's Miss Universe Esther Wahome recently confessed to shock when selected as the second runners up for women under 40 years old on a 'white mans land'.
The competition was a beauty pageant had a serious selection of both career women with good great image presentation.
Women ran for the competition from all over the world but she was the among only three Africans who were brave enough to participate.
The model narrated her surprise as a motivating story to youths who doubt their potential during the Make it or Make it campaign sponsored by Jimmy gait.
During
an interview at the St. Austins church, the 40 year old beauty expressed
passion for the mission intended to wake youths up reality and motivate
them to struggle for achievements.
She won from a list of 50 finalists in Russia .But before her success people discouraged her citing
the competition was a give away only to the white race.
The title positioned her to be further selected as number one Miss
universe in Africa thanks to the seconds runner up position in the Universe.
She says this is just the beginning to inspire others and make use
of her position positively. " Always believe in yourself and never give
up in your dreams." she concluded.
