A 28 year old man was fined sh 50,000 for threatening
passengers in a flight that he was a terrorist and had explosives.

order and discipline on board in an aircraft.
Passengers made distressing calls to friends and relatives
when he stood last Thursday to stay, “I will blow the aircraft before it
lands.”
However he confessed before Senior Principal Magistrate
Theresia Mwangi that he was under the influence of alcohol.
Okiri had been working in Dubai with a permit set to expire
on 2015 but was canceled and deported through KQ flight number 315.
He mitigated before the court there was free liquor in the
aircraft and apologized for his misconduct, which was contrary to the civil
aviation act of cap 394 of laws of Kenya.
