AKON PROMISES A THRILLING STAGE APPEARANCE

International artist Akon confirmed through a live video conference that he is going to perform in Kenya without fail.

The star who is set to do a Akon Live concert for two days promised during a Press interview via Skype that he will not disappoint fans.

He will have a small entourage with him in maximum numbers of 20.

This is the third time Kenyans will anticipate his appearance in Kenya within the past six years. But the artiste assured inquisitive press, this time he will set foot on the Kenyan soil.


Akons press conference was aired at the Carnivore restaurant, where he is scheduled to make his performance next weekend.

Chatting from Amsterdam on Friday at 3.00 pm he said, "Expect surprises and as my songs will have a Kenyan twist to represent its uniqueness."

He lands in Kenya at exactly 19.05 GMT on Thursday night and will be staying at Ole Sereni.

Thrilling performance of his old mixes and new genres are expected during the concert on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th October at the Carnivore restaurant.

Tickets go for a sh 2,500 and VIP tickets go for sh 5,000.
