A 25 year man old risks facing 20 years imprisonment after affirming to defilement charges before a Makadara court.

Nzomo represented himself before the dock and instantly confessed to
cohabiting with a 15 year old girl for 18 days in a row.
The girl disappeared from her mothers house in Ruai area on December 8th . This was after a family quarrel , which involved her step father.
She sought refuge at the house of a pastor as she anticipated for his intervention and counsel.
The minors encounter with Nzomo came into place after the pastor forwarded her to a female church member. She was to assist the minor with accommodation but found her son, Nzomo, cohabiting with the minor .
It was until christmas day that the minor was rescued by her 28 year old mother and the pastor. They realised quite late that the situation turned into potential marriage.

It wasnt until the matter was reported on January 6th ,
instigating officers to arrest and charge the accused. However, no
medical reports have been filed before court.
Prosecutor leonard Kurgat proposed the case to be mentioned on 17th January of this month for doctors report.

If the court determines his plea of guilty, Nozomo may face a minimum of 20 years imprisonment.
