A tout confessed to a court that he assaulted a passenger in a fight shortly after hiking fare prices within Nairobi.The 19 year old tout affirmed to charges of causing body harm to a passenger by violently punching the nose leading to hospital admission.
The drama unfolded after bus fare from town to Eastleigh hiked by sh 10.
Christopher Kariuki was the toute plying on route number 6 on 24th November of this month.
He ushered passengers to the vehicle shouting that prices were sh 20 on entry from town to Eastleigh at about 12.30 pm.
But a few minutes later out of town he demanded sh 30 from passengers. When passengers detested the change of fare price he randomly targeted a face and punched one.
However, the Makadara court postponed the case until the P3 form could be filed before court.
