FATHER SENDS SON TO COURT FOR THEFT

A 23 year man confessed to stealing laptops valued at sh 150,000 from his father.

The College Student will remain in custody for one more week until the court can determmine his case.

He took  two laptops  from their house in South C in the morning of 29th November.

He timed as his father went to work and disappeared instantly to Kiambu for several days.

However, the student managed to pick up calls and promised not to sell laptops of  Toshiba and Acer make, including four modems all valued at sh 150,000.

His father reported to the police and he was traced in the outskirts of Nairobi but Officers made no recovery of stolen items.

The student was charged for stealing contrary to section 268 of the penal code.

The case will be heared next week after a probation officers report is presented before the Makadara court.
